GeneNano, Inc. collects information from our users at several points on the GeneNano site. Information collected is provided by you. Information collected and stored may include any of the following:

Contact information provided by you via direct communication is stored for the purpose of facilitating communications and to conduct business transactions. We request information from you on your order, quote, proposal forms, technical assistance, and general inquiry forms. This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfill customer requests. If we have trouble processing a request or you request additional information, the information given is used to contact you. Web Accounts:

In order to use some features on GeneNano site, a user must first register via our website. You have an opportunity to sign up for an account on our website. The information entered when signing up, as shown in the registration form, is collected and stored solely for use by GeneNano, Inc.. When signing up for an online account, we store your IP address, password, and the date and time you registered. This serves to protect us in the event of a third party improperly and without your knowledge makes use of your data to sign up for our site.

Information specific to the use of the GeneNano site, including which pages are visited, what technology is used (operating system, browser, etc.), and user demographic data, is collected through Google Analytics, which uses cookies to identify and track website visits. Customer demographics, including age, gender, and interests, are collected with Google Analytics. Any information gathered with regard to the use of our website (either by registered GeneNano site users or by anonymous users) is used solely to improve GeneNano site and to better serve you. Our website makes use of cookies to recognize repeat use of our website by the same user/internet connection subscriber. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser downloads and stores on your computer. They are used to improve our website and services. In most cases, these are so-called “session cookies” that are deleted once you leave our website. To an extent, however, these cookies also pass along information used to automatically recognize you. This site takes reasonable precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the site, your information is protected both online and off-line. In the event of a security breach where your data may have been compromised, all users with data on file will be notified.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected.

All of our users’ information is stored in facilities with restricted access. GeneNano’s internal network is protected by reasonable security systems and practices. GeneNano stores transactional information on servers that are located in the U.S. Transaction information is stored indefinitely. Personal information can be updated or deleted by you at any time.
